Created for UC Davis Design students to:
-Showcase their work in an informal, accessible environment
-Explore Design major class projects
-Network with other students
-Promote and/or find Design events, clubs, job opportunities
UC Davis' Design department class descriptions are vague and there's currently no way to view past projects created in a comprehensible and easily accessible manner. Many classes in one sector of the major such as Graphic Design do not ever get the chance to see the work from other sectors such as, Industrial or Fashion Design, which students may find interest in.
This website allows students to connect with each other and proudly display their work without having to worry about transporting their project or printing costs. The website also serves to build a closer Design community by encouraging participation in departmental events and on-campus clubs.
